ʔaq'am Business Development Grant Program Opens for 2014/2015 Fiscal Year

Land Code Vote SUCCESSFUL!

The Land Code vote is now complete and the votes have been tallied.  ʔaq̓am members voted in favor of the Land Code with 103 yes votes to 38 no votes.  This is a historical day for both ʔaq̓am members and the Ktunaxa Nation.  Stay tuned for further details and congratulations to everyone who made this a successful voting process!

ACE Enters into New Construction/Contracting Business Partnership

The ʔaq'am Community Enterprises ("ACE") Board is pleased to announce an exciting new partnership for the Community's Development Corporation.  ACE has partnered with MDG Contracting Services Ltd. and Kinbasket Development Corporation to form a company named "FNMDG Construction Services" that has the immediate capacity to undertake projects of all sizes in general contracting and construction management within the St.

Invitation for Expressions of Interest

 

Purpose

The purpose of the Lands Committee will be to:

Make recommendations to Council on laws, resolutions, policies and procedures respecting Band lands
Assist in disseminating information on land issues between Membership and Council
Oversee community approvals under the St. Mary’s Indian Band Land Code
Carry out any other duties that may be assigned or delegated by Council.

 

Composition

The Lands Committee shall be composed of:

Thursday April 10th, Land Code OPEN HOUSE.  Come by anytime time from 10:00 am- 8:00 pm to ask your questions and have snacks!
