Local business sponsors new jerseys for ʔaq̓amnik̓ Education Centre
Cranbrook BC- Students at ʔaq̓amnik̓ are feeling an added sense of pride this week, as they sport
brand new athletic jerseys. The jerseys were sponsored, as a way for one local business to give
back to the ʔaq̓am community.
Earlier this fall, Cranbrook Flooring was provided notice that they were the successful
proponent to provide flooring for the new gymnasium that is currently being built in the

Unofficial Vote Results- Land Use Plan and Amended Land Code Approved

On Thursday February 25th, 2016 ʔaq̓amnik voted in favour of enacting the ʔaq̓am Community Land Use Plan as well as approving amendments to the Land Code.

69 Eligible voters participated in the Meeting of Members Vote with the results as follows:

59 "YES" votes

10 "NO" votes

These results were the same for both the Land Use Plan and the Amended Land Code.
