Access to Kootenay IR 1 for purpose of establishing plots for vegetation monitoring from June 29th – July 1st, 2024

Tannas Conservation Services is granted access to ʔaq̓ am lands forming Kootenay IR 1 for the purposes of
creating plots and plant inventories at 6 wetland sites: Unnamed Wetland, Stink Lake, Francis Lake, Airport
Wetland, Twin Lakes and Long Lake from June 29th – July 1st, 2024.

 

Access to Kootenay IR 1 for purpose of doing water tests at the deep test holes on July 2nd, 2024

MacHydro is granted access to ʔaq̓ am lands forming Kootenay IR 1 for the purposes of doing water tests at
the 7 deep test holes at Unnamed Wetland, Stink Lake, and Twin Lakes on July 2nd, 2024.

Nupqu Resources Limited Partnership is granted access to ʔaq̓am lands forming Kootenay IR 1 and St
Mary’s 1 for the purposes of ground truthing wildfire threat assessments within the Wildland Urban
Interface (WUI) for the creation of the 2024 ʔaq̓am Community Wildfire Resiliency Plan (CWRP) from June
27 – July 4, 2024.
